The Merrell Agility Peak 6 White/Black is a high-performance trail running shoe built for stability, traction, and durability on technical terrain, blending a lightweight feel with solid protection and a secure fit. Its white mesh upper with black accents is reinforced with synthetic and TPU overlays for toughness and debris protection, while a traditional lacing system, gusseted tongue, and padded collar ensure comfort and lockdown. A toe bumper and 3D printed overlays add extra shielding, and Cleansport NXT™ treatment helps control odor. The FloatPro™ foam midsole delivers lasting comfort with better cushioning than before, paired with slightly higher heel and forefoot stacks. FLEXconnect™ flex grooves boost stability and adaptability, and a lightweight rock plate guards against sharp surfaces. Pros include moderate shock absorption, a stable ride, and improved flexibility, while cons are limited energy return and a narrow toe box for wider feet. The Vibram® Megagrip outsole with 5mm Traction Lugs grips well on all surfaces and sheds debris easily, with added traction tech in the forefoot and heel. Sizing runs true for length but favors medium to narrow feet, and heel lift on steep terrain can be reduced by using the extra lace eyelet.
